New Palestine High School

The New Palestine girls soccer team played a strong match Saturday against No. 8 Cathedral, but fell 1-0 to the Irish on the road. Cathedral scored five minutes in, but the Dragons' defense settled in and held the Irish scoreless over the last 75 minutes of the match. McKenzie Hacker and Ady Eakin shared goalkeeping duties, with each tallying three saves. The Dragons are now 8-3 on the season. They next play Monday at Franklin.
