New Palestine junior libero Azure Flagle hit a milestone Wednesday night, as she tallied her 1,000th career dig in the Dragons' 27-29, 25-22, 25-22, 25-20 victory at Perry Meridian. The victory improved the Dragons' record to 19-0 on the season. Flagle tallied 29 digs, giving her 1,010 for her career. Natalie Sevier also had a monster night with 19 kills and 21 digs. Josie Corbett tallied 16 kills, while Caylee Brown had 13 kills. Sam Gooding paced the offense with 48 assists. Defensively, Kyndra Monteith and Makaeli Johnson each had 13 digs. Monteith also tallied three aces. The Dragons return home Thursday to face Pendleton Heights, with the JV match beginning at 6 p.m.
