New Palestine High School

The New Palestine girls golf team closed out an outstanding regular season Wednesday with a 162-180 victory over Mt. Vernon at The Links. Prior to the match, the Dragons celebrated seniors Lily Kirchner and Janie Hamilton. Lauren Deering was match medalist with an even-par 36. Katie Kelley added a 39, while Kirchner shot 40 and Hamilton 47. Matti Tiede-White's 48 was the fifth score, while Tessa Mohr added a 53. The Dragons begin the postseason Monday in the sectional at The Links.
