New Palestine High School

The New Palestine girls soccer team continued its winning ways Thursday, beating Yorktown 5-1 in a conference match. The Dragons are now 6-1 overall and 3-0 in Hoosier Heritage Conference play. Rylee Hurst scored twice for the Dragons, while Tylar Whitaker added a goal and an assist. Shaylee Frank and Hailey Pardieck also scored. Abby Lambdin and Nevaeh Gebhart each had two assists. The Dragons are next in action Saturday at Shelbyville, with the JV beginning at 9 a.m., followed by the varsity.
