Tennis wins fourth match in four days

The New Palestine boys tennis team won its fourth match in as many days Thursday, dodging rain and lightning to beat Shenandoah 5-0. The Dragons swept the singles in straight sets. Arjomand Khokhar won 6-0, 6-0, while Joey McPike won 6-3, 6-3 and Joel Dorval took a 6-3, 6-2 decision. At doubles, Moses Haynes/Max Havel won 4-6, 6-4, 10-2 in a super-tiebreaker. Jesse Isaacs/Luke Bartusek won 6-0, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles. The Dragons are now 7-1 on the season. They next play Saturday at the Noblesville Invitational.
