Boys tennis wins another HHC match

The New Palestine boys tennis team had another strong day Wednesday at Greenfield-Central, downing the defending sectional champions 4-1. Arjomand Khokhar played a strong match and won 6-3, 2-6, 6-1 in three sets at No. 1 singles. The Dragons' other three wins were comfortable straight-set victories. Brady Torzewski won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3 singles. At doubles, Moses Haynes/Max Havel and Andrew Hahn/Carson Rush both won by 6-2, 6-0 scores. At No. 2 singles, Joey McPike played one of the area's top players at his position and won the first set, but dropped a tough 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 decision. The Dragons' JV won 5-0. Winners were Joel Dorval, Tyler Walter, Brock Hehmann, Nick McDonald, Luke Bartusek, Jesse isaacs, Jackson Clark and Davis Harrison. The Dragons are now 6-1 overall and 3-0 in Hoosier Heritage Conference play. The Dragons are back in action Thursday at home against Shenandoah for their fourth match in as many days.
