Boys tennis defeats Franklin

The New Palestine boys tennis team had a solid night Tuesday, beating Franklin 4-1 on the road. At No. 1 singles, Arjomand Khokhar pulled out a 6-3, 6-2 victory in the longest match of the night, with a number of competitive, long games. Brady Torzewski won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 3 singles. At doubles, Moses Haynes/Max Havel won 7-6(5) 6-4 and Carson Rush/Andrew Hahn won 6-1, 6-3. The lone loss was a 6-4, 6-2 defeat to Joey McPike at No. 2 singles in his first match back from an injury. The Dragons' JV won 5-0. Joel Dorval, Tyler Walter, Brock Hehmann, Jesse Isaacs/Luke Bartusek and Jackson Clark/Davis Harrison all won. The Dragons (5-1) are back in action today at Greenfield-Central.
