New Palestine High School

The New Palestine girls soccer team had another big night Monday in a 9-0 home victory over Richmond. Tylar Whitaker continued her scoring run as she tallied four goals and an assist. Gabby Brown also had a hat trick and an assist for the Dragons. Dawsyn Cooper and Nevaeh Gebhart each scored a goal. Rylee Hurst had two assists, while Addison Lindell and Marly Turso each had an assist. Ady Eakin, McKenzie Hacker and Ava Schroer shared the clean sheet in goal, with the defense holding Richmond to one shot. The JV won 4-0, with Turso, Madisyn Litko, Jillian Champ and Sydnee Frank each scoring a goal and Schroer posting the clean sheet in a 40-minute game. The Dragons are back in action Thursday at New Castle with a varsity only contest.
