The New Palestine volleyball team routed Shelbyville 25-13, 25-10, 25-8 Tuesday on the Dragons' senior night. Isabella Gizzi tallied a double-double with 30 assists and 10 kills in her final home match. Fellow senior Honour Mallory had 10 digs and senior Reagan Kleiman added nine kills. Lauren Wilson added 15 kills and three aces. Azure Flagle had six digs and three aces. "Good win tonight," Dragons assistant coach Jamie Morris said. "A great way to bounce back this week and get another conference win. It was great to be able to get the win for the seniors as well. Honour had some phenomenal hustle plays in the back row keeping the ball up. Isabella was clicking really well with all the hitters and Reagan did a great job getting kills and finding the floor tonight. Solid team effort." The Dragons are now 22-4 on the season and clinched a piece of second place in the HHC with a 5-1 conference mark. They finish conference play Thursday at Mt. Vernon. The Dragons also won the JV match 25-10, 25-16.
