New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys tennis team had a strong day in its conference opener Thursday, beating host Yorktown 5-0. The Dragons improved to 3-1 on the season with the victory. At singles, Arjomand Khokhar (6-2, 6-0), Brady Torzewski (6-4, 6-4) and Carson Rush (6-0, 6-0) all won. Moses Haynes/Max Havel (6-0, 6-2) and Luke Bartusek/Andrew Hahn (6-0, 6-4) swept the doubles. The Dragons JV also won 5-0. The Dragons are next in action Monday at home against Delta.
