New Palestine High School

The New Palestine volleyball team won its second straight Saturday invitational, winning the Richmond Invitational title. The Dragons opened the day with a 25-12, 25-12 victory over Franklin County. Lauren Wilson had 12 kills. Honour Mallory added seven digs and Kyndra Montieth six. In the second match, the Dragons beat Winchester 25-14, 25-11. Wilson had 10 kills. Reagan Kleiman and Bella Brownfield added five kills each. Isabella Gizzi tallied 15 assists. In the championship match, the Dragons downed Richmond 25-15, 25-10. Wilson had seven kills, Kleiman added six kills and Gizzi 18 assists. The Dragons are now 21-3 on the season. They next play Monday at home against Noblesville.
