New Palestine High School

Josiah Kissel medaled at the sectional Monday, leading the New Palestine boys golf team to a second-place finish in the tourney at Hawk's Tail in Greenfield. The Dragons shot 326 as a team to advance. They will compete in Thursday's regional at The Players Club in Yorktown. Kissel shot a four-over par 76 to lead the Dragons and win the title. Joey McPike added an 81. Luke Cofer shot 84 and Nick Barada 85. Ty Mitchell's 87 was the fifth score.
