The New Palestine softball team clinched a perfect record in the Hoosier Heritage Conference Friday, capping the conference slate with a 16-0 victory over Delta. The Dragons completed a perfect 7-0 conference record for the program's 13th HHC championship and ninth in the last 10 seasons. After a walk to Jersi Gross, Blum came up a second time in the inning and blasted her second homer of the frame and 17th of the season. The three-run shot put NP up 9-0. The Dragons added two more runs in the second on Rosenbaum's bases-loaded sacrifice fly and a double by Ella Holman. In the third, Oliver had an RBI single, Ernstes a sacrifice fly and Engle an RBI double to put the Dragons up 14-0.
