Volleyball wins sectional opener

The New Palestine boys volleyball team pulled away late in each set Thursday to beat Beech Grove 25-20, 25-10, 25-18 in the sectional opener at Roncalli. The Dragons (12-11) advance to face Covenant Christian in Saturday's 11:30 a.m. semifinal at Roncalli.
