Boys golf second at Brickyard

The New Palestine boys golf team shot 162 Wednesday to finish second in a three-way meet with Westfield and Speedway at Brickyard Crossing. Westfield shot 157 to win, while the Dragons finished ahead of Speedway (171). Luke Cofer and Nick Barada each shot 40 to lead the Dragons, while Joey McPike and Josiah Kissel each shot 41. The Dragons' other scores were also solid, as Ty Mitchell and Bryce Marrow both shot 42, while Jackson Clark carded a 45. The Dragons are next in action Saturday in the HHC meet at Albany Golf Course.
