New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys volleyball team posted a 25-14, 25-21, 25-23 victory over Shelbyville Monday night. Chase Emberton led the Dragons' attack with eight kills, while Daysen Wood added seven and Jaxon Hinkle six. Emberton and Kameron Engle tallied three blocks each, while Eli Greene had two. Engle added 25 assists. Eli Martin led the defense with 20 digs, while Aaron Smith and Kendall Steele had seven each. Steele had three aces, while Smith had two. The Dragons improved to 9-10 on the season. They next play Thursday at home against Whiteland.
