New Palestine High School

The New Palestine golf team celebrated its seniors Tuesday, then went out and beat Mt. Vernon and Shenandoah. The Dragons shot 190, while MV tallied 209 and Shenandoah 235. Senior Zoe Nelson led the Dragons, shooting a 46. Katie Kelley shot 47, Lily Kirchner 48 and Lauren Appleby 49. The Dragons celebrated Nelson and senior Ava Hasecuster prior to the match. The Dragons finish the regular season 11-4. They next compete Monday in the sectional at Hawk's Tail.
