Tennis tames Pendleton Heights

The New Palestine boys tennis team posted a close 3-2 victory over Pendleton Heights Tuesday at the NPHS tennis courts. Moses Haynes played well and won a tight 7-5, 6-3 match at No. 1 singles. At No. 2 doubles, Will Hahn/Joey McPike played a smart match and won 6-4, 6-3. At No. 2 singles, Arjomand Khokhar won 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 to clinch the victory for the Dragons. Fresh off its county title, the Dragons' JV also won. The Dragons are now 6-7 on the year and 1-4 in HHC play. They next play at 5 p.m. Wednesday at home against New Castle.
