New Palestine High School

The New Palestine golf team finished second in Saturday's Hoosier Heritage Conference meet at Albany Golf Club. The Dragons shot 365, 21 strokes back of HHC champion Delta, which was playing on its home course. The Dragons finished five strokes ahead of third-place Yorktown. Two Dragons finished All-Conference, as Katie Kelley shot an 89 and Zoe Nelson a 90. Lauren Appleby added a 92 and Lily Kirchner 94 to earn honorable mention All-HHC. Hanna Beller's 103 was the fifth score. The Dragons next compete Monday at Fall Creek against Pendleton Heights before returning home to Hawk's Tail Tuesday against Mt. Vernon.
