New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys tennis team swept Lawrence Central 5-0 Wednesday in dominant fashion. The Dragons surrendered just four games in the five varsity matches. No. 1 singles Moses Haynes, No. 3 singles Brady Torzewski and No. 1 doubles Max Havel/Eli Sloan all won 6-0, 6-0. At No. 2 doubles, Will Hahn/Joey McPike won 6-0, 6-1. Arjomand Khokhar won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. The Dragons are now 5-7 on the season. They next compete Saturday in the Hancock County tournament, which will be held at the New Palestine Junior High School tennis courts.
