The New Palestine boys volleyball team dropped a three-set match to a powerful Southport squad Tuesday, falling 25-14, 25-8, 25-10. Kameron Engle had three kills and five assists to lead the Dragons. Eli Greene, Daysen Wood and Chase Emberton had two kills each. Greene also had two blocks. Wood tallied an ace. Eli Martin led the Dragons defensively with six digs, while Aaron Smith had five. The Dragons are now 1-1. They next play Thursday at home against Franklin.
