New Palestine sophomore Lynzie Stiller finished sixth in Friday's Franklin Central gymnastics regional in the all-around and will advance to next weekend's IHSAA State Finals. Stiller scored 8.9 on vault to lead the Dragons, while Chiara Polo scored 8.55 and Olivia Frank 8.5. On uneven bars, Stiller scored 8.3, Frank 8.0 and Polo 7.475. Stiller led the Dragons on beam, scoring 8.6. Rebecca Johnson scored 7.775 and Frank 7.75. On floor exercise, Stiller scored 9.45, with Frank tallying 9.225 and Polo 8.775. The top six in the all-around and each individual event advance to state. The Dragons finished fourth in the six-team regional with a score of 101.3. The top three teams advance. The State Finals will be held at 11:30 a.m. March 9 at Worthen Arena in Muncie.
