New Palestine High School

The New Palestine gymnastics team had a solid day Saturday at the Bloomington North Valentine's Invitational, finishing fourth with a score of 92.25. The Dragons were competing without two gymnasts who were with the cheerleading team at the national competition in Florida. On vault, Chiara Polo finished fifth with a score of 8.525, with Rebecca Johnson sixth (8.5). The Dragons' top placer on bars was Polo, who was eighth (7.125). Reagan Seal was the top finisher on beam with a score of 8.125. On floor exercise, Seal was the Dragons top finisher at 7.95, finishing 12th. Polo was seventh in the all-around (30.85), with Johnson eighth (30.825). The Dragons are next in action Thursday at Morristown.
