New Palestine freshman Isabelle Tull has qualified for the IHSAA girls swimming and diving State Finals. Tull finished fifth in Tuesday's 20-person diving regional at Plainfield to qualify, The top eight divers advance. The State Finals diving competition will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Indiana University Natatorium in Indianapolis. Tull advanced by winning the title at last weekend's New Palestine sectional. The top four from each sectional moved on. Tull scored 320.45 at the regional to place fifth. She was more than 20 points ahead of the cut score for the State Finals (298.60). The regional champion, Park Tudor's Simone Hall, scored 458.85.
