New Palestine High School

Sophomore Lily Kirchner was match medalist, leading the New Palestine golf team to a 188-205 victory over Cathedral Thursday at Maple Creek Country Club. Kirchner shot 42 to win medalist honors in the dual match. Zoe Nelson added a 47. Katie Kelley and Kate Stanfield each shot 49s. Janie Hamilton added a 50 and Hanna Beller a 51 for the fifth and sixth scores. The Dragons are now 7-2 on the season. They next play Tuesday at Prairie View against Hamilton Southeastern and Westfield.
