Gymnastics wins triangular meet

The New Palestine gymnastics team won a triangular meet Saturday morning with New Castle and Richmond at The Gymnastics Company. The Dragons tallied a season-best 101.4 points, while New Castle scored 96.45 and Richmond 90.9. Lynzie Stiller won the uneven bars, floor exercise and all-around, while Olivia Frank won the balance beam. On bars, stiller scored 8.5, while Frank was second (7.75) and Reagan Seal fifth (7.0). On floor, Stiller scored 8.95, with Frank second (8.75) and Seal third (8.55). Chiara Polo was sixth (8.35). On beam, Frank scored 9.2, while Seal was third (8.6) and Stiller fourth (8.45). On vault, Stiller was second (8.7), Frank third (8.5), Polo fourth (8.45) and Seal fifth (8.4). The Dragons took the top three spots in the all-around, with Stiller scoring 34.6, Frank 34.2 and Seal 32.55. The Dragons are next in action Thursday at home against Roncalli.
