New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys wrestling team improved to 13-3 on the season Thursday with a 49-13 victory over host Franklin Central, winning 11 of the 14 matches. Winning by fall were Landon Stranger (113), Bryce Doss (144) and William Glesing (285). Blake Doss won a forfeit at 106. Gunner Butt (126), Peyton Hornsby (138), Gabe Flick (165) and Shaun Glass (215) won by major decision. Cole Vandygriff (132), Jaedyn Jeffries (157) and Brandon Brees (190) won by decision. The Dragons are next in action Saturday at the IHSWCA team state duals at Franklin.
