Tennis drops conference match

The New Palestine tennis team dropped a close 3-2 decision to Greenfield-Central Wednesday afternoon. Moses Haynes continued his winning ways at No. 1 singles, winning 6-4, 6-4. The Dragons also won at No. 1 doubles, where Max Havel/Eli Sloan picked up a 7-6 (3), 6-4 victory. The Dragons dropped a close 6-4, 6-3 match at No. 2 doubles, with a newly-formed duo of Will Hahn and Joey McPike pushing their opponents in the match. The Dragons are now 1-5 on the season. They next play Thursday at home against Shenandoah. The Dragons JV won 6-4.
