New Palestine High School

The New Palestine volleyball team kept coming back - all the way to match point Monday - but they dropped a 25-15, 22-25, 26-24, 18-25, 17-15 home match to Franklin Central. The Dragons had set points in both the third and fifth sets, but FC was able to save the point and go on an end-of-set run to win. In the fifth set, the Dragons rallied from deficits of 5-0 and 8-2 to take a 14-13 lead, before FC tied the match. The Dragons tied it up at 15-all, but FC scored the last two points to win. The Dragons are now 24-2 on the season. They next play Tuesday at home against Yorktown.
