New Palestine High School

The New Palestine girls soccer team battled throughout the full 80 minutes on Monday's Senior Night, but fell 1-0 to Roncalli. After Adalynn Eakin made multiple point-blank saves, Roncalli earned a corner kick and scored as a far-post cross into the mixer fell to a friendly foot in the 64th minute. The Royals were able to see out the last 16 minutes to hold onto the lead. The Dragons finish the regular season with a 7-9 record. They open sectional play Oct. 5 at Greenfield-Central with a rematch against Roncalli.
