New Palestine High School

The New Palestine girls golf team competed in Saturday's regional at Edgewood Golf Club in Anderson, placing 12th of 15 teams. The Dragons shot 403 as a team. Hamilton Southeastern (304), Lapel (315) and Noblesville (321) took the top three spots to advance to the State Finals. Lauren Deering led the Dragons with an 81. She finished fourth among individuals advancing without a team, one stroke shy of a playoff to advance to the State Finals. Tessa Mohr shot 99, Carlee Poorbaugh 107 and Jozlynn Hart 116. Temperance Raney's 130 was the fifth score.
