The New Palestine girls volleyball team claimed another trophy Saturday, as it swept three matches to win the Richmond Invitational. The Dragons opened the day with a 20-25, 25-13, 15-10 victory over Greenwood Christian. Adelynn Crispin had a double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs. Kennedy Armstrong also had one with 12 digs and 14 assists. Haven Flagle tallied 15 digs. Emmi Robinson had 11 digs and three aces. Caylee Brown led the Dragons with 11 kills. The Dragons then beat Edgewood 25-19, 25-18. Flagle and Robinson had nine digs each. Elena Cook tallied five kills and two blocks. Ella Moeller added four kills. Brown had five blocks. Armstrong had nine assists and three aces, while Brileigh Tincher had six assists and five digs. The Dragons finished the day with a 25-15, 25-9 victory over Richmond. Crispin had six kills, six digs and three aces. Cara Steele tallied seven kills, while Brown had four. Robinson had seven digs. Kelly Sevier had seven assists and two digs. The Dragons are now 24-1 on the season. They next play Monday at home against Franklin Central.
