The New Palestine girls soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision Thursday at home to Greenfield-Central. The Dragons conceded a 12th-minute goal and trailed 1-0 at halftime. They had a couple of early chances at an equalizer - the best coming off a corner kick that fell to Sydnee Frank in the middle of the box. Her shot beat the goalkeeper, but was swept off the line by a defender. G-C scored soon after on a counterattack, and the Cougars added two more second-half goals. The Dragons are now 7-5 on the season and 2-2 in Hoosier Heritage Conference play. They next play Monday at Franklin.
