The New Palestine boys tennis team extended its winning streak to 10 matches Thursday, beating Chatard 3-2 on the road. In a match delayed by rain, the Dragons swept the doubles and had three straight-set wins. Brock Hehmann won the day's closest match, winning 6-4, 7-6(2) at No. 3 singles. At doubles, Jackson Clark/Davis Harrison won 6-1, 6-4, while Brady Groce/Jack Hehmann won 6-4, 6-2. Carson Rush fell 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, while Tyler Walter dropped a 6-1, 6-1 decision at No. 2 singles. The JV played two matches and won both - Blake Wilson and Gavin Berry/Jacob Kleine both won. The Dragons are now 11-1 on the season. They next play Monday at home against Pendleton Heights.
