New Palestine High School

The New Palestine girls golf team had a solid day at Saturday's Connersville Invitational, shooting a 388 to finish third in the field. Lauren Deering shot an even-par 72 to finish second overall. She was one under par with a 35 on the back nine. Tessa Mohr shot 103, Carlee Poorbaugh 106 and Aubree Amback 107 for the Dragons. Jozlynn Hart's 108 was the fifth score. The Dragons are back in action Monday at The Links against Franklin Central and Greenfield-Central.
