The New Palestine boys soccer team dropped a 5-0 decision to Lawrence Central Saturday at home. The Bears scored three first-half goals, the first of which bounced off the goalpost and caromed into the net. They added two more in the second half. The Dragons had three shots on goal, their best chance coming from a free kick by Noah Diaz De Leon in the 80th minute. The Dragons (0-6) are next in action Tuesday at home against Mt. Vernon. The Dragons JV dropped a 3-0 decision.
