New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys tennis team won its fourth straight match Thursday, sweeping Shenandoah 5-0. After winning two straight nail-biting 3-2 matches that were decided in third sets, the Dragons had little trouble with the Raiders, dropping three games over the five matches. Carson Rush won 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 singles. Tyler Walter and Brock Hehmann each won 6-0, 6-0 at the other two singles spots. Jackson Clark/Davis Harrison won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles, while Brady Groce/Jack Hehmann won 6-0, 6-0. The Dragons JV also won 4-0, with Blake Wilson, Braedyn Shaffer, Gavin Berry/Jacob Kleine and Sam Busby/Ian Uhl all winning. The Dragons are now 6-1 on the season. They next play Monday at Connersville.
