The New Palestine girls volleyball team won a tight back-and-forth five-set thriller over Hamilton Heights in a matchup of ranked teams Wednesday at the Dragons' Den. The Class 4A No. 8 Dragons beat the Class 3A No. 9 Huskies 23-25, 25-16, 25-13, 18-25, 15-7. Adelynn Crispin had a big night with 16 kills, 13 digs and two aces. Caylee Brown added 10 kills and had a huge night at the net with seven blocks. Elena Cook tallied nine kills, two blocks and two aces. Cara Steele had eight kills, three blocks and five digs. Kennedy Armstrong paced the offense with 24 assists and three aces. She added 12 digs for a double-double. Brileigh Tincher added 11 assists and eight digs. Emmi Robinson led the defense with 17 digs. She also had two aces. Beth Comer had six digs and three aces. The Dragons are now 9-0 on the season. They next play Wednesday at Warren Central.
