New Palestine High School

The eighth-ranked New Palestine volleyball team took command late in the first set and never looked back Monday in a 25-19, 25-14, 25-11 victory over visiting Eastern Hancock. Adelynn Crispin led the Dragons' attack with 14 kills. Caylee Brown tallied seven kills and Cara Steele five. Kennedy Armstrong and Brileigh Tincher each tallied 14 assists. Tincher also had three digs. Emmi Robinson led the defense witih eight digs. Elena Cook had two blocks. The Dragons improved to 8-0 to start the season. They next play Wednesday at home against 3A No. 9 Hamilton Heights.
