New Palestine High School

Freshman Reese Davison scored four goals in her high school debut Wednesday, leading the New Palestine girls soccer team to a 6-3 road victory over Oldenburg Academy in the Dragons' season opener. All of the goals were scored by underclassmen. Freshman Brenna Lane also scored for the Dragons. Junior Lynley Brown tallied her first career varsity goal. Hannah Sund, Sydnee Frank, Nora Martin and Adalynn Eakin all had assists. Eakin also stopped 17 shots in goal. The Dragons (1-0) are next in action Monday at home against Richmond.
