New Palestine High School

The New Palestine girls golf team opened its season Monday with a 186-228 victory over Greenwood at Valle Vista. Lauren Deering led the Dragons with a two-over par 37. Tessa Mohr shot 48, Jozlynn Hart 50 and Carlee Poorbaugh 51. Libby Hunter's 56 was the fifth score. Aubree Amback added a 57 and Mallory Mohr a 59. The Dragons open their home schedule Thursday at The Links against Noblesville.
