New Palestine High School

Mike Bauer competed in two events at Saturday's IHSAA boys track and field State Finals. He finished 13th in the 1600, running the mile in 4:17.20. The state champion, Noah Bontrager of Westview, ran 4:01.83. Bauer also finished 26th in the 3200, with a time of 9:40.70. Bontrager also won the title in that event in 8:47.57.
