New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys golf team shot 305 Friday to claim the Hancock County championship at Hawk's Tail. The Dragons had three All-County golfers. Cooper Hurst finished third overall with a 74. Andrew Wooton and Luke Cofer were tied for fourth overall, as each shot 76. Will Clark added a 79. Jackson Clark's 87 was the fifth score. Mt. Vernon was second with a 318, followed by Eastern Hancock (332) and Greenfield-Central (342). The Dragons next compete Monday in the sectional at Hawk's Tail.
