New Palestine High School

The New Palestine girls tennis team dropped a 5-0 decision Tuesday at home to Greensburg. Both doubles matches were tight. Alyssa Appleby/Elliott Graham fell 7-6(4), 6-2 at No. 1, while Addison Ballard/Alyssa Beller fell 6-2, 5-7, 10-4. At singles, each Dragon fell in straight sets. Sophie Munson fell 6-3, 6-2, while Riley Watts dropped a 6-3, 6-4 decision and Macy Thomas fell 6-1, 6-2. The Dragons won the JV match 3-0, with Amelia Kell, Malina Mahurin/Sydney Walter and Ellie Armstrong/Sophie Crickmore all winning. The Dragons are now 10-7. They next play Wednesday at Chatard.
