New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys tennis team beat Chatard 3-2 on Senior Night to finish the regular season with a 10-5 record. All four seniors played doubles and won in straight sets. Nick Parrett/Carter Willey won 6-4, 6-0 at No. 1, while Trent Ruble/Eli Sloan won 6-3, 6-0 at No. 2. Brady Torzewski won the longest match of the night 3-6, 6-1, 6-0 to clinch the match for the Dragons. Torzewski finishes the regular season 17-0. Joey McPike fell 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, while Arjomand Khokhar dropped a 6-1, 6-4 decision at No. 2. The Dragons next compete in next week's Mt. Vernon sectional.
