New Palestine High School

The New Palestine girls tennis team battled, especially in the second sets, but dropped a 5-0 decision to No. 14 Delta Thursday at NPHS. Arabella Deisher and Riley Watts both pushed their second sets to the brink before falling 6-0, 7-5 at singles. Macy Thomas fell 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Alyssa Appleby/Elliott Graham fell 6-1, 6-2, while Addison Ballard/Alyssa Beller dropped a 6-1, 6-3 decision. The Dragons JV won 9-5. The Dragons are now 7-4 on the season and 3-1 in the HHC. They next play Monday at Waldron.
