Girls soccer improves to 2-0 with victory over BD

The New Palestine girls soccer team defeated Ben Davis 4-0 Thursday at Kelso Stadium. The Dragons improved to 2-0 on the season with the victory. The game was called at halftime due to a injury suffered by a Ben Davis player. Allie Blum got the scoring started in the 11th minute and quickly added another goal. Anna Luker and Neveah Gebhart added goals late in the opening half. Grace Hasenkamp had the clean sheet in goal. Luker, Blum, Bethany Aldridge and Mia Knoop each had assists. The Dragons are back in action Saturday morning against Lawrence North, with the JV game beginning at 10 a.m. and the varsity at approximately 11:35 a.m. The Dragon JV won 4-0 as Addison Lindell scored twice. Kansas Spicer had a goal and an assist. Shaylee Frank also scored, while Mackenzie Hacker had an assist.
