The New Palestine girls tennis team had to dodge a rainstorm, but a massive court-drying effort by the teams' supporters allowed them to finish Tuesday. The Dragons dropped a 5-0 match to an experienced Triton Central team. Arabella Deisher had the day's longest match, falling in a super-tiebreaker 6-4, 5-7, 10-7. Riley Watts fell by a break in each set 6-4, 6-4. Macy Thomas dropped a 6-1, 6-3 match. At doubles, Alyssa Beller/Elliott Graham fell 6-1, 6-3, while Alyssa Appleby/Addison Ballard lost 6-3, 6-1. The Dragons (2-2) are back in action Wednesday against Roncalli.
