The New Palestine girls golf team shot a season-best score Tuesday in a 155-172 victory over Mt. Vernon in the regular season finale at Arrowhead Golf Course. Katie Kelley was match medalist with a 37. Lily Kirchner added a personal-best 38. Lauren Deering and Kate Stanfield each shot 40s. Lauren Appleby added a 42 and Hanna Beller a 43. Stanfield led the team on the greens with 15 putts. The Dragons finish the regular season with a 13-2 record. The Dragons won the JV match 185-213. Janie Hamilton shot 41, Matti Tiede-White 42, Tessa Mohr 44, Alyssa Beller 48, Carlee Poorbaugh 56, Addison Matthias 57 and Haidyn Lavish 60. The Dragons next compete Monday in the sectional at The Links.
