New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys volleyball team won its second straight match Wednesday, sweeping Southport 25-21, 25-18, 25-18. Hayden Taylor led the Dragons with a double-double, as he had 13 kills, 11 digs and a block. Peyton Mullen added 11 kills and a block. Jude Hinkle tallied 10 kills and two aces. Dawson Lawless had 38 assists, six digs and two aces. Jack Hehmann added 12 digs, while Lucas Holmes had three blocks. Both the Dragons JV and freshman teams lost in two sets. The Dragons are now 4-2 on the season. They are next in action Monday at Warren Central.
